Forum Post: CRM 2013 - Plugins registered on update message also getting called during creation of entity

HI, We have one plugin registered on CREATE as well as on UPDATE message on salesorderdetail entity. When I am creating a new salesorderdetail record, this plugin called 2 times. One for create and another for update message. Does this happening due to internal calculations crm is doing? How can we restrict that?
