We are on SharePoint2010. No effort has been made to shift to server-side integration because we have plenty of plugins interfering with SharePoint (dating before I joined the project), and because we might move away from SharePoint is document system. I contacted the SharePoint team to verify the version of the list component installed. I'm waiting their feedback (as I don't have necessary permissions myself).
