Hi Happyman, If you have the Global Administrator role within Office 365, the Edit button should definitely be there, regardless of if it's a Sandbox or Production instance. Could you confirm that you have this role? Or at least the customized administrator role for Dynamics 365? Without these roles you will not be able to edit any instance under the Dynamics 365 admin page. As for the security role query, you can find this on all users that are in your Dynamics 365 instance under: Settings > Security > Users, then tick a user account and choose the Manage Roles button at the top of the ribbon.
