Hi Raj! First of all, welcome to the Dynamics Community! This is the best place to ask questions on anything related to Dynamics 365, including how to start from scratch. I was in your shoes 14 months ago and went from zero to Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert and Community Spotlight member. I would recommend you to fix yourself an objective in your learning with a deadline and a reward (mine was a meal at the Gordon Ramsey Pub and Grill at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV if I passed 4 certifications by Christmas 2017). The best way to do so is to pass the official Microsoft Dynamics 365 examinations. Not only they help immensely in your learning, but they also give you a huge boost in your job search (I can interview for positions asking for 2-3 more years of experience than what I have because I am certified). As your first step, look into having access to the DLP and a Sandbox (if you don't have access to a sandbox via your employer, there is a limit of one sandbox valid for one month per business email id). In order to access the DLP, you need to meet one of the following criteria: 1. You are working for a Microsoft Partner. In that case, you can go to the mbspartner.microsoft.com website and login with your employer's information 2. You are working for a Microsoft Dynamics end-user. In that case, you can go to the imagineacademy.microsoft.com website and login with your employer's information (your Office 365 email address and password) 3. You are a full-time student at an institution that is a member of the Microsoft Dynamics Academic Alliance. In that case, you can use the imagineacademy.microsoft.com website and login using your school's information 4. You are a full-time student at any post-secondary institution that is not part of the Microsoft Dynamics Academic Alliance. In that case, you need to register with 365 Talent Portal (365talentportal.com) and provide a proof of enrolment. 5. You are an independent Microsoft Consultant and a Microsoft Certified Professional. In that case, you need to register with 365 Talent Portal (365talentportal.com) and provide a proof of MCP status. If you don't meet any of the criteria above, you cannot access the DLP. Here are some non-DLP resources to help you. - Microsoft MOOC - Managing Customer Engagement (great for an introduction): openedx.microsoft.com/.../about - MS Dynamics Certified (that's my online school where I offer study guides and 2 full-length practice examinations): microsoftdynamicscertified.teachable.com - Neil Parkhurst's certification guide (a great free resource to help you revise the exam. That's what I read the night before): neilparkhurst.com/.../mb2-716-dynamics-365-customization-and-configuration - Microsoft Documentation (in case you need to deep dive on a particular topic): docs.microsoft.com/.../dynamics365 The best advice I could ever give you as far as study resources go is to stay far away from Brain Dumps. They actually harm your preparation, since you will learn the wrong concepts and Microsoft has gotten much better over the years to detect who is using them to make them fail automatically. In terms of what exam to do first, I would highly recommend you to do them in the following order. You will get the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate designation if you pass both: 1. MB2-715 (Online Deployment) 2. MB2-716 (Customization and Configuration) Then, depending on your specialization (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service/Field Service. The following order presented is if you wanted to do them all). You will get the Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert if you pass the MCSA and one of the following exams: 3. MB2-717 (Sales) 4. MB2-719 (Marketing) 5. MB2-718 (Customer Service) 6. MB2-877 (Field Service) You are taking advantage of (1) prerequisites and (2) related material/repetitiveness between the different components of the material. Please let me know if you have any question.
