Hey all, I need to change a specific 6 records not on a daily basis so I 'm using SQL for specific change, can I do it technically ?

If its only 6 records then you can do this from UI/ application itself. There is no benefit of doing this with sql/code or workflows. Login to CRM, search for the required records and click "Reactivate Case".

Hi, Though, it is not clear from your description what exactly you are trying to achieve but if you want to make the records read only, you can do so by removing the edit permission for the entity records on the users security role This way users will be able to create records but not update. It appears that the button reactivate case is only available for individual record. As these are just 6 records, I would suggest to perform the action for each case record. Alternatively as suggested aboce, you can create a workflow which changes the status and then run that workflow on all required records. Hope this helps.

Hi Team, we have ms crm 2015 on premise and we have some entities with currency values, we want the reports for the currency value comparison between today and yesterday/last week/ last month/ last year. Report should show percentage increment/ decrement on the particular currency value of the record with time frame. we can think of pushing the data to other stage kind of entity or external db daily basis and generate report on the new db or table inside crm or out side crm. but below are my questions which need expert suggestions: 1. Can we have any ready mate tools available for this requirement as we have many requirements of this kind? 2. Can we have any useful feature in Power bi to support this time based reports as we are using it in our current implementation? 3. Is SSAS will be a good solution for this requirement? Please find the activities count (crm rollup fields) and if there is no increment on activity count you can send a email notification using a wait workflow. Create a custom numerical field, Create required rollup fields to find the activities count Check is rollup filed is greater than numerical filed Send the notification Update the total activities count to the custom filed using workflow re-trigger the workflow in 15 days wait period time. Hi, I developed CTI connector for USD which connects to Cisco telephony infrastructure. I am keeping details of Cisco servers under "USD->Options". These are global parameters and can be accessed using ConfigurationValueReader.ConfigurationReader() API. Also i want to keep username, password, and extension parameters which are required to login into Cisco contact center. The best place to keep these user specific settings is "USD->User Settings". This allows to keep key value pairs for a given user. Can someone help me in reading these parameters using C# from hosted control code. I did not see any API to access these parameters. Hi When you run your SSIS packages and if you have a plugin performing some operation on the records created through SSIS than this type of error will occur because the speed at which SSIS create record in CRM is faster than Plugin can take it even though plugin take it from memory once loaded. Ideally we should not run any Plugin or Workflow when SSIS packages are running because it will effect Perform of your CRM application. To avoid this I would recommend to adjust the batch size in SSIS package and do the changes in your plugin suggested by @Ben Thompson. Hope this will help !!!
