Hello, I'm afraid it's not doable. It works the way it works and can't be customized.

Forum Post: Unable to install Dynamics 365 App for Outlook
We recently upgraded to Dynamics 365 on prem and had our users uninstall the old 2016 plug-in. WE then configured the users so that they could use the new Dynamics 365 App for Outlook. I have 2 anomalies out of 80+ users. One user I am unable to configure and he never gets the prompt. I also have one user who is configured and receives the following icon in his Outlook. This icon is grayed out and doesn't match the other users. There is no program for dynamics installed or listed in the add-ins or Control Panel > Programs and Features. Doesn't work and show not see this Does work and should see this vs Any insight on how this could happen or how to get rid of it? Note: I don't need to to know how to configure the apps.

Blog Post: Pro Tips For Quick CRM System User Adoption
It’s been said that anything worth doing in life won’t come easy. Without a doubt, this applies to upgrading your business management systems. In today’s global economy, upgrading business management systems is more important than ever before. But CRM projects will only be successful if your team understands and adopts the new system quickly. How can you get your employees to embrace the change? We’ve consulted twenty industry experts to learn what they’ve found to be successful in streamlining user adoption. These key tips, important warnings, and advice from our members here at the CRM Software Blog can help your employees embrace change and take your organization to the next level. It may not be easy, but working toward solid user adoption is well worth the effort. Here are a few tips from various Microsoft Dynamics 365 Partners who focus on helping companies like yours. Plan Thoroughly To have successful user adoption, it is essential that your team has planned thoroughly before implementing your new business management system. Anticipate challenges ahead of time, such as identifying what obstacles may come up and the reasons why your team may be resistant. “Create an iterative project plan that clearly defines success through metrics and establishes the strategic priority of the project so users understand it’s something that requires their attention and adherence.” - BroadPoint Preparing for challenges ahead of time by building the right software team, establishing a clear plan for post-go-live support and training, and knowing exactly what areas you want your new system to improve on can have a big impact on whether your user adoption is successful or not. Lead Proactively If you want your employees to be on board with the switch, there must be strong leadership. The leadership team, from CEO to department managers, should be able to clearly explain the reason why the project was initiated. Successful companies know this. Notice their insights in this area: “Even if the new CRM or ERP has a lot more to offer, the end-user will be reluctant to adopt it if they find a pre-existing software integration missing. A missing integration often means a break in an existing data flow.” — Connecting Software “Without the ‘WHY,’ a new system implementation just becomes another task. It’s critical to identify the reason WHY. WHY are we spending the money? WHY are we spending time and effort. What’s the business case? What’s the justification? What’s the ROI? Make a strong case to drive user adoption.” — JourneyTEAM “Make sure management is on board and leads by example. Users will not be motivated to use the new system if management is still using the same old tools as before to manage the organization.” — JOVACO Solutions Train Effectively Without proper training, it’s very likely that your employees will be resistant to the changes your new CRM system will bring. They may be worried the new system will automate them out of a job, or they might simply not understand why the change is happening and how they fit into the switch. No matter what the reason for the resistance, training will help. Microsoft Dynamics 365 experts offer these tips on training effectively: “Many working adults are also homeschooling or caring for others while trying to juggle their professional schedules. Create a schedule that allows for multiple breaks throughout the day. We also recommend recording sessions in case anyone misses any topics or wants to simply review again in the future.” — Beringer Technology Group “Requiring too many fields early on in the sales cycle just decreases the likelihood that a salesperson will fill out any fields—and thus destroys your user adoption. Only require the data that you need, and encourage your sales team members to understand the value of inputting data in “recommended” fields—with understanding comes compliance and user adoption!” — emfluence Marketing Platform There are a variety of effective training options a company can use when upgrading business management systems. Whether it’s in-person, hands-on training, or using video sessions, if your team is aware of what specific areas your employees need to be trained in you are one step closer to reaching your goal of successful user adoption. Helping your employees embrace change when implementing a new business management system can be a challenge. But by closely following the tips offered by our contributing partners, you will soon find out that following their advice was well worth the effort. Forum Post: Is it possible to build a Power BI report on use security roles and their access
Hi all, Quick question. I know there's a couple of tools in the XRM toolbox that allows you check which security roles have access to which entity, who has these security roles and allows you to export a csv file. It's all a bit of a manual process and just wondering whether it's possible to pull security role and table access and user security access into a Power BI report so that when I audit access for users it doesn't have to be a manual process.

Forum Post: Help with Views/Charts in a Dashboard
Hello, I'm creating a custom dashboard within the D365 CRM and for the entities like Activities, Opportunity and Quote I am able to choose My Views which are customer views I created and then I can choose which chart I would like. For some reason the entity called Forecast Product Line only shows me system views. Any idea where to start/check to see why this entity is restricting which views I can choose in the dashboard?

Forum Post: How portal users are able to upload files to Sharepoint
Hi all, Just a bit confused and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. We're using the Dynamics SharePoint integration in CRM to manage documents and this works well with portal also where external users can login and upload their files which then gets saved in the respective SharePoint location. My question is how the security of this works. How are the portal users able to upload files into an organization sharepoint? Is there a proxy admin account in Sharepoint that does the actual file uploads? What about visibility of files etc. I understand web roles can control view access but how does it work on the SharePoint side of things. I mean portal users who've logged a case can see the documents that they've uploaded. How is the access managed and controlled on the SharePoint side of things. I know Dynamics 365 security roles don't roll down into SharePoint and you'll need to configure SharePoint security manually. That's fine for internal users but what about external?

Forum Post: RE: E-Mail to Case Rule - Fill Content of Email to Description Field of Case
Thanks Pradip! It looks like you're experiencing exactly what I was, it seems like maybe it could be a bug or even a gap in the functionality. One thing I was thinking about trying is using Power Automate to build the ACR rule to see if that may overcome the disconnect (and since PowerAutomate is the go forward solution). The only other option (and tempting) is to open a ticket with Microsoft. Thanks Again & Make it a great day! Mark

Forum Post: RE: Refused to display 'url here' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin' - MS Dynamics CRM On premise
You cannot display a lot of websites inside an iFrame. Reason being that they send an "X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN" response header. This option prevents the browser from displaying iFrames that are not hosted on the same domain as the parent page. I faced the same error when displaying YouTube links. For example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WkuChVeL0s I replaced watch?v= with embed/ so the valid link will be: https://www.youtube.com/embed/8WkuChVeL0s It works well. Try to apply the same rule on your case.

Forum Post: On Portal, User should be able to view chart as per logged in user
Hi, I am facing difficulty in showing associated records of logged in user on Portal. In this scenario, Contact is having relationship with Accounts and Account is having relationship CS Account and CS Account with Products. Logged in User on Portal (contact record ) should be able to view only products which are associated with that associated Account and Products in chart format . View / Charts are getting displayed on portal for associated products . But it is not showing associated record of logged in user. Steps Performed till now : 1. Views , charts are created in CRM. (Here In View->Filter Condition , not able to find logged in user as contact . So Trying to display related records via Portal-> Entity List ->Filter Condition) 2. Charts are displayed on Portal (but not restricted with logged In contact user related Products) 3. On Portal, created Entity List ,enabled entity permission for the entity list , added view on Entity List Page and applied filter condition. And associated entity List with that web page, Still it is not showing records of logged in user.

Forum Post: RE: Start Business Process flow with a condition
Hi Katerina, A solution for this scenario could be to have a workflow at the entry stage for Stage 1 to check the condition: fields contain data and to update the record automatically using a workflow (move to the next stage). I was looking into performing this in a vanilla environment and would look something like that: Found some articles I would like to share here: Enhance business process flows with branching | Microsoft Docs (+) Automate Business Process Flow stages using workflows - Microsoft Dynamics CRM Community Please feel free to share any new developments on this. Forum Post: Account revenue field
I've just taken over managing a CRM system and I have a currency field of type simple in the entity account that should calculate the revenue from the account from the year before, however it doesn’t work. There are no work flows or business rules on the account entity, and the JavaScript does not write to this field. I am at a loss what was calculating this simple currency field, and why it doesn't work now. Are there any other functions in CRM that could calculate a revenue field in accounts that I have missed?
